Personalised online run coaching for everyday runners who want to get faster — and stay in the game when the body gets noisy. Built around your current pace, your goal, and your life. One currency across parkrun, 5K, 10K and Hyrox: 1K pace.
What happens next: Pay → complete your short onboarding → tell Coach Kev your current time, goal time and timeline → your personalised coaching begins.
YOUR CURRENT PACE IS JUST THE STARTING POINT.
Forget generic running programs. Your training starts with where you are now and where you actually want to go.
We establish exactly where your running is right now.
Sub-30. Sub-25. Sub-20. A faster 10K. Better HYROX splits. Your goal drives the plan.
A goal needs a timeline. We build the progression around it.
Knowing the pace is one thing. Training your body to actually run it is another. 3MK turns the number you're chasing into personalised training built around your current ability.
Different arenas. Same question: how fast can you hold a kilometre? We're not saying one sport is better — the number is the bridge.
Your current 1K pace is the starting point. Your goal 1K pace is the plan. That's the language we coach in — whether you're chasing a parkrun PB, a faster 5K, or cleaner Hyrox run splits.
Running faster isn't about smashing every session or blindly adding kilometres.
It's knowing when to run easy, when to run fast, what pace to target, how to progress, and when your training needs to change.
The goal isn't more training. It's training that actually moves your pace.
Base → Speed → Race. That's the philosophy. The method we use depends on your timeline, your body, and how honest we both are about the runway.
Roughly 6 months of base. About 1000 km under the belt. Then drills and speed. Then race.
This is how durable speed is built. It's slower to feel "special." It's what lasts.
Military-style prep when the calendar won't wait. Higher risk — especially for older athletes or anyone coming back from stop/start seasons.
I'll run Method 2 with you if that's the reality. I'll also tell you the trade-offs up front. No fake promises.
Your current time. Your goal time. Your timeline. Then we choose Method 1 or Method 2 — and build the week around you.
No generic download. Your coaching changes as you do.
Weekly running built around your current ability, goal, schedule and progress.
Know exactly what pace you're targeting and why it belongs in your program.
Send running video for review and receive practical feedback and drills.
Faster sessions structured around the pace you're working toward.
Guidance where required to support stronger, more resilient running.
Regular feedback, check-ins and adjustments as you improve.
Your starting pace doesn't matter. The important part is having a target, a plan that respects your body, and being willing to keep showing up.
Running hurts. Elite or beginner — niggles are part of it.
Last year I struggled to get back. Physio every couple of weeks. Soldier-era hips, knees and lower back plus a messy restart. Physio alone wasn't enough.
I bulletproofed the weak links with strength, mobility and a gradual plan. Last 6 months: ~50 km/week. Still some niggles — manageable. And faster is becoming real again (parkrun 22:53 → 19:56, chasing 17:30) because I stayed in the game.
That's what I coach: Base → Speed → Race, plus the durability layer so you can keep showing up.
This is Coach Kev's personal result and is not presented as a guarantee of client results. Coaching is not physiotherapy and not a promise of pain-free forever.
Teen track speed. Army PT (2.4 km in 7:04). CrossFit years. Masters comeback — parkrun 22:53 → 19:56, 5K under 20, chasing 17:30.
Forty years of running. Coaching since 1997. Still training the same principles I write into your week — including the strength, mobility and load management that got me back to ~50 km/week after a noisy restart.
This isn't about turning you into me. It's about taking where you are now, naming the pace you're chasing, and building the work that actually moves it — without blowing up every few weeks.
Your current time. Your goal time. Your timeline. Then we pick the method and build the training around you.

There isn't one fixed number. Your program is built around your current training, goal, experience and the days you realistically have available.
Tell me about your injury history during onboarding. Your training can be adjusted around relevant limitations, but coaching does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
You'll be able to send running video for review. I'll assess what I can see and give you practical feedback, cues and drills where appropriate.
